Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Scrum Master / Business Analyst. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating Agile processes as a Scrum Master while also contributing as a Business Analyst to gather and analyze requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and drive the delivery of high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Act as a servant-leader and coach to Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to prioritize and manage product backlogs, sprint planning, and release planning.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, identifying and addressing impediments to progress and promoting self-organization and accountability.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements elicitation sessions to understand business needs and objectives.
- Analyze and prioritize business requirements, define and refine user stories, and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and testers to ensure a clear understanding and implementation of requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Participate in product demonstrations, retrospectives, and sprint reviews to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, metrics, and key performance indicators to stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a solid understanding of business analysis techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.
- Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Rally, or Trello.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
